Listing details for 854 Clear Ave, Saint Paul, MN 55106 : Classic early century bungalow in historic and convenient Phalen neighborhood. Vintage charm begins with the 3-season front porch and continues through the original oak front door then flows into 8" oak baseboards, oak wood flooring (under carpet on the main level), oak stair treads and risers, oak-wrapped doorways and reaches a crescendo with the timeless beauty of the custom, built-in oak buffet! A breakfast nook area in the kitchen offers great additional space for daily, informal meals while ample windows stream an abundance of natural light into both nook and kitchen. The upper level addition some years ago added an unusually large owner's bedroom to this level. The upper level now features 3 bedrooms and bathroom. The bathroom, classic in its own right, will regale the new owner with the period, cast iron claw-foot bathtub. Neat and clean, the basement area sports a newer Goodman furnace & 100A circuit breaker electrical service. Nice 2-car garage with alley access. WOW!
