638 7th St W Hastings, MN 55033

Listing details for 638 7th St W, Hastings, MN 55033 : Rustic farmhouse charm with modern updates and amenities. We were impressed with this 1880’s home, likely the first in the neighborhood, by the thoughtful updates and excellent decisions made by homeowners past. All the elements of the old are there - the hardwood floors, a kitchen designed for cooking, moldings/casings/trim are period appropriate. The layout flows through the main level with flexible spaces that can be interpreted according to your needs. The upstairs features 3 bedrooms and a full bath with separate tub and shower. The lower level feels like newer construction, with an ample family room and access to utility spaces. Behind the home, a three season porch invites you to lean and loafe with the view of the trees and yard. The garage is a complete rebuild and is finished, heated, and has accessible storage above with the ability to be finished for office or accessory space. A new roof and updated mechanicals means lower cost of home ownership for years to come.
