Listing details for 585A Ferndale Rd N, Wayzata, MN 55391 : Once in a lifetime gem! This is a truly rare opportunity to own a nearly 5-acre private building site overlooking Lake Lydiard in walking distance of Wayzata! If you love nature, privacy, and convenience, this is where your new dream home can be built! This home and site are tucked away in a wonderful neighborhood at the end of a nearly hidden driveway. The property has never been offered for sale in the last 50 years, and as such it is really an extraordinarily rare opportunity. The existing cottage house is loaded with charm but is likely a tear down as the value is in the land. There are historic elements of the home that could be repurposed. There is a wonderful trail that meanders around this private lake and of course the lake is known for its great quality fishing. There is wildlife galore, and this peaceful setting enjoys spectacular sunsets. You can bring your own builder. We are awaiting final revised survey that will show the building pad and septic sites.
