3943 Red Wing Trl NE Remer, MN 56672

Listing details for 3943 Red Wing Trl NE, Remer, MN 56672 : Thunder Lake, located on Teter Bay, this vintage 2 bedroom, 3/4 bath, partial log cottage sits on 110 feet lakeshore with easy elevation and approx. .63 acres, which has been in the family since the 50s. The original log portion of the cottage predates that time period. This is actually 2 cottages which have been combined, with the entry and bathroom in the middle. The driveway access for the adjacent neighbor to the North, is through the front yard. The existing septic, is non-conforming, has no drain field and has been used as a holding tank, the shallow sand point well will be disinfected and should be potable. This location and the surroundings still feel like an "Old Resort" which it was, back in the day. The shed on the property has always been shared with the neighbors, and it straddles the lot line. A future "walkout style" building site behind the existing cottage could be possible. Within sight of the DNR boat landing.
