153 Bates Ave Saint Paul, MN 55106

Listing details for 153 Bates Ave, Saint Paul, MN 55106 : Great opportunity in a wonderful location walking distance to Mounds Park. In under 10 minutes you will be in downtown St. Paul and in under 2 minutes you can be sailing on I-94 east or west. The home itself will need your vision and creative input, some monetary infusion, muscle and elbow grease. Understand, before you schedule a showing, this home needs more than a coat of paint and new carpet. There is also a heavy smoke smell. Still, the bones are here to turn this into something special for your family or for an investment. Built in 1978, this is a traditional ranch/rambler style home that places focus on efficient use of space while minimizing unusable space. A 3rd bedroom is easily added in the lower level with a relatively simple egress window addition. Plumbing waste pipes are stubbed in for a 3/4 bath in the lower level too. If you're a doer/fixer/project person, this is a unique opportunity that does not come along often.
